Mark Stewart goes through the relatively short history of the Texas Rangers using plenty of facts and pinpointing specific moments of glory the team has recently achieved. He does a fine of work of covering the beginnings of the club in Washington, their move to Arlington, TX, and their subsequent drought of titles for nearly four decades. He then focuses on their recent history, when the team has found success against old-time rivals. The book is chockfull of facts, enough to satiate the most demanding young fans. It also provides a timeline, photographs, and fun facts. Considering the rising popularity of this team and the depth of information offered, this book is a must for elementary school libraries in the region. A Must Buy.
