All the books in this series include a table of contents, glossary, index, and bibliography. Specific books provide a basic explanation of the game of football, focusing on the featured team, with a history of that team as well as details about the current line up. There are plenty of team statistics, quotes from players and coaches, and interesting color photographs. Another teaching tool includes a timeline for the team.
Book Buzz, December 2009
Title, cover, and headings are in bright orange, one of the team colors, to attract fans. With colorful pictures galore, the history, accomplishments, and some important personalities of the team are explained. Some quotes by their team members add interest, as does a map, with important places and other places to find more information. A glossary of football terms which are used in bold is included, plus an index and contents page. Students will love it.
