Margaret Hillert has helped children gain reading confidence for years. This series has bilingual text with the entire Spanish text followed by the entire English text on each page. The colors are bright and will appeal to young students. Our FTI students are excited to have them for using with their students. Also reviewed: 1,2,3, y los colores de querido Dragon, Es primavera, querido Dragon, and Querido Dragon va al Mercado.

The boy takes his pet dragon on a field trip to the firehouse. This very early reader is written in English and Spanish making it a good book for young children to share with their parents.

Recommended. Another of Margaret Hillert's Dear Dragon stories in Spanish and English for young readers. The use of repetitive language, simple sentences, and familiar subject makes this series good for beginning readers. Phonics and vocabulary practice are in the back of the book.

Great book - perfect for our bilingual students. Story is written in Spanish and English. Student love the Dear Dragon series. This story takes place at a firehall where students are shown fire safety - wonderful for K-3rd grades.
