This book is designed for early readers. The sentences in the story are simple and easy to read. The beginner sight words are used throughout the text to expand the language and develop comprehension. Having fun is one of the top features the author has shown in this book. He has made the sentences short and concise. Repetition is a consistent reccurence in this text. The illustrator has portrayed his artistic abilities in explaining to the reader what the test is about. Activities are presented at the end of the book to support levels of comprehension. A teacher can use this book to introduce beginning reading. Not only will the teacher use this book, but students as well. This book supports all components reading and will put any child on the road to encourage reading. I am happy to admit that I will be using this book in the media center on a frequent basis.
