Each book in this football series follows the same format with 2-4 page sections on various topics. The books do a good job of balancing historical and current information. The "Overtime" section on the publisher's website provides updates on developments that have happened for the team since the books were published, as well as additional player information and statistics. vocabulary is well-defined and designated as sports or general vocabulary. Layout is not cluttered, and pictures are good quality. The author makes an effort to connect the teams with the communities in which they play. Fans will enjoy reading these books.

Title, cover, and headings are in bright purple, one of the team colors, to attract fans. With colorful pictures galore, the history, accomplishments, and some important personalities of the team are explained. Some quotes by their team members add interest, as does a map, with important places and other places to find more information. A glossary of football terms which are used in bold is included, plus an index and contents page. It will not sit on the shelves.
