In this short, 48 page book, there is a lot of information about the football team, The Auburn Tigers of Alabama. The Tigers began in 1892. Their history is filled with triumphs and big recognized names, such as Bear Bryant (coach), Bo Jackson, and Pat Sullivan, just to name a few. Stewart always does a good job balancing text with picture and stats. Important words are bolded in the text. Besides the text and pictures, this book has a timeline, fun facts, historical statistics about the team and its players, a map and description of the Southeastern Conference (SEC), the differences in rules between college and pro football, a glossary, places to visit, and an index. Well written and recommended.
